The God of Mischief continues to have loyal disciples.

Loki‘s Season 2 return delivered the second-most viewed Disney+ season premiere of 2023, by amassing 10.9 million views globally after three days streaming on Disney+. (A “view” is quite logically defined by Disney+ as “total stream time divided by runtime.”)

The Loki premiere’s viewership trails only the Season 3 premiere of The Mandalorian, which in March racked up… well, more than 10.9 million views. (Disney+ hasn’t denoted the ’23 title holder’s tally.)

The premiere of the recently wrapped Star Wars series Ahsoka delivered 14 million global views in its first five days, but fell below 10.9 million in its first three days.

TVLine readers gave Loki’s Season 2 opener an average grade of “A”; read our post mortem about how MCU vet Tom Hiddleston brought those painful-looking time slips to life!

“There is a ton of raw material of him. If he’s being pulled in five different directions, he’s giving you those bespoke performances for each one of those,” Loki exec producer Kevin Wright told TVLine. “If you were on set, what you would see is Tom Hiddleston performing his heart out and acting those things. And so much of the pain that comes through is because it is baked into his performance.”

Loki is releasing new episodes every Thursday at 9/8c, with the finale landing on (I presume, because I took math) Nov. 9.
