Ratings: ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season Premiere Halves Last Year’s Debut

CW’s Season 2 premiere of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” wasn’t exactly legendary. The comic book series only managed to halve last year’s debut in the key 18-49 demographic, matching a series low in the process.

Meanwhile, Fox’s “Pitch” whiffed against actual MLB competition on cable. The Dana Walden and Gary Newman-run network managed to edge the slumping CW among the advertiser-sought age range, but barely.

CBS predictably finished first last night thanks to “Thursday Night Football.” ABC and NBC stacked up far behind, in that order.
