Ratings: ‘Jane the Virgin,’ ‘The Odd Couple’ Fail to Blow Anyone Away With Returns

“Jane the Virgin” and “The Odd Couple” returned for new seasons Monday night, though neither lit the world on fire, Nielsen-wise. That doesn’t mean they fared poorly, however.

The hour-long CW dramedy was up slightly versus its last premiere, but with a much-better lead-in out of “Supergirl.” “The Odd Couple” was down from last spring’s premiere, but Monday’s “2 Broke Girls” intro was no “Big Bang Theory” — its previous lead-in.

Instead, NBC won Monday with “The Voice” and an improved “Timeless.” CBS was second in the key 18-49 demographic, while ABC finished runner-up among total viewers.
