Rashida Jones to guest star on ‘Black-ish’

Rashida Jones is the latest actor set to visit the Johnson family in black-ish, EW can reveal exclusively. The talented multi-hyphenate will play Bow’s sister in an episode scheduled to air in late April.

The storyline will center on the incorrect belief that the two sisters have a lot in common.

Also set to return to the show is Hamilton’s Daveed Diggs, who will reprise his role as Bow’s hippie brother, and Anna Deveare Smith, who plays Bow’s mother.

In addition to black-ish, Jones will return to television on April 10, reprising her role as the titular police detective in TBS’s Angie Tribeca, the comedy series created by Steve and Nancy Carell. Jones also produced and directed an episode of the Netflix documentary series Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On, which will premiere in the spring. And the TNT series Claws, which she executive produced and will star Niecy Nash, is set to debut later this year.

Other prominent stars to show up on the Emmy-nominated black-ish include Lorraine Toussaint, Tyra Banks, Michael Strahan, and Zendaya.
