Rashida Jones and Ezra Koenig Make Rare Public Appearance at 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

The pair, who have reportedly been together since 2016, welcomed son Isaiah in 2018

Rashida Jones and Ezra Koenig enjoyed some post-Oscars fun Sunday night!

Following the 96th Academy Awards, the Parks and Rec alum, 48, and the 39-year-old Vampire Weekend frontman made a rare appearance together as they stepped out for the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverley Hills.

While the couple did not walk the carpet together, Koenig and Jones posed for photographers while inside the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, where the magazine hosts its annual Oscars afterparty.

During the outing, Jones wore a dashing ruffled white dress with a plunging neckline as she walked the red carpet solo. She accessorized her outfit with a long diamond necklace.

Koenig, meanwhile, decided to go for a less conventional red pin-stripe suit with a black button-down and messy bangs to tie it in.

While inside the event, where Jones and Koenig were photographed together, she topped her outfit with a white blazer.

There, Jones also posed with a few friends — including Tina Knowles, Bethann Hardison, Quinta Brunson and Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Radhika Jones.

As previously reported, Jones and Koenig began dating in 2016 and became parents in 2018, when they welcomed their son, Isaiah.

In 2021, Jones opened up to NPR about those "very emotionally intense couple of years" that followed. During that time, her mother Peggy Lipton died from cancer at age 72 in May 2019 — just eight months after their son's birth.

"The thing that's the craziest about birth and death is just the utter rawness of feeling," Jones said at the time.

"I still feel this way, I think. It's like something cracks in you," she continued. "It's very binary, both things — becoming a mother and losing my mother — like, there's my life before and there's my life after. And strangely, there's something that's not recognizable before those two things happened."

In February, Jones and Koenig attended a Gucci Grammy After Party at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles. Prior to that, they stepped out together in September for the launch of Sofia Coppola Archive: 1999-2023.
