Today brings another peak inside Prince’s legendary vault with the digital release of a long lost cassette tape dating back to 1995. As Pitchfork points out, as a preview of his album The Gold Experience, Prince gifted a limited number of cassette tapes to attendees of the Versace collection at Paris Fashion Week.

Entitled The Versace Experience Prelude 2 Gold, the 15-track tape features edits and remixes of tracks from The Gold Experience, some of which were released anywhere else, as well as rare or unheard material from New Power Generation, Madhouse and The NPG Orchestra.

In the years since, The Versace Experience has become a highly sought after collector’s item. At one point, it was the most experience tape ever sold on Discogs, going for over $4,000. Now, you can listen to it for the price of a streaming music subscription down below.

This is just the latest archival release from the Prince Estate. Earlier this year, a deluxe reissue of the musician’s seminal album 1999 was announced.

What’s more, Prince’s long-in-the-works memoir, The Beautiful Ones, will finally see release in October.
