After two years of being absent, the singer/songwriter Raquel Sofía is releasing her new single "Ron de Azucar," exclusively on Billboard.
The song, written by Sofia and the Puerto Rican singer Kany Garcia, is very fresh with Caribbean rhythms. "It's about when you think you have everything under control and you're with someone just to have fun," Sofia tells Billboard. "You're not going to fall in love, and then you realize that you're falling in love."
"Ron" is the first single of Sofía's second album which is expected to be released later this year. With this song she marks a great transition in her life. The singer is not only premiering a song but, also a new image, haircut and attitude. "2015 was one of the best years of my life, but at the same time I was having a bad time. I was fulfilling my dreams, I had a Latin Grammy nomination, a lot of amazing things going on, but my personal life was collapsed," she said.
