Raptors provide behind-the-scenes look at iconic Game 6 victory

It may not seem real yet, but the Toronto Raptors are NBA champions after knocking off the Golden State Warriors, and there’s now a behind-the-scenes account of how Thursday’s Finals-clinching Game 6 unfolded.

Toronto emerged with a 114-110 win, buoyed by excellent performances from Kyle Lowry, Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet. If you’re still in disbelief, this nine-minute video might give you goosebumps.

There’s so much to unpack here, but we get to see a candid Kawhi Leonard breaking down what awaits in Game 6 and brief but rousing speeches from Raptors head coach Nick Nurse.

The best parts of the video, however, are clearly the unfiltered scenes of the celebration, both on-court, in the locker room, with various Raptors drenching each other in champagne.

“It feels amazing, it’s great, I love it,” Leonard exclaims while completely soaked.

We couldn’t agree more and it’s certainly worth a watch if you have an extra 10 minutes.
