You’re just in time for Ranking Dead, where we give a power ranking of The Walking Dead’s characters after every week. This is how we’d rank the characters of episode 16, the Season 7 finale, “The First Day of the Rest of Your Life!”

5) Jadis

In fifth place is Jadis. Dirty double-crossin’ may not be the prettiest way to win, but Jadis still fooled Rick and everyone in Alexandria with her 22-Skidoo fakeout.

4) Sasha

Pour one out for Sasha, because she isn’t coming back from this. Her zombie coffin surprise was worthy of the fourth place spot.

3) Rick

Maybe his plan didn’t shake out the way he had hoped, but hey, Rick’s still got two hands and a one-eyed Carl. That alone clinches the bronze for Ol’ Unkillable Rick.

2) Negan

In second place is Negan, who was steps ahead of almost everyone with his attack on Alexandria. He even rolled out of the fire fight with a middle finger in the air. But there was one enemy he couldn’t fool…

1) Shiva

This tiger is the grrrrreatest! Right when you thought Carl was done for, FACE CHOMP! FACE CHOMP! FACE CHOMP! That’s good enough for the finale’s gold medal.

And now, our overall power rankings for Season 7. In first, Negan. In second, Rosita. In third, Rick. And in a two-way tie for fourth, Daryl and Michonne.
