A popular Greater Cincinnati food week honoring a classic fried chicken dish will return this summer. Wing any bells?

The third annual Cincinnati Wing Week runs Aug. 21-27. Participants can enjoy six chicken wings for $7 at participating restaurants. The event will feature over 50 returning and new restaurants, with more to be announced.

Cincinnati Wing Week offers an app available to download on the App Store and Google Play. If participants check in at four or more locations on the app, they will enter to win $250 in gift cards and can earn points toward a second grand prize throughout the week.

Participants can also earn points by attending the wing week kickoff event at Sam Adams Taproom from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 17.
