Ralph Lauren Previews U.S. Olympics Closing Ceremony Uniforms

With the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro right around the corner, Today took an exclusive look at the closing ceremony uniforms for the U.S. Olympic team. Ralph Lauren, usually known for his “affluent” style, helped create this year’s uniforms. Olympians Jordan Burroughs, Hailey Anderson, and Ryan Lochte dropped by Today to model Lauren’s official Olympic garb (see above). Gold medalist Lochte was immediately a fan. Asked by Matt Lauer how Lauren had done overall, the swimmer responded, “I mean, just take a look. I feel fantastic. I love it.”

This is the third time Ralph Lauren has been in charge of the U.S. Olympic attire, and this year’s outfits definitely give off a beach summer vibe. The Today anchors modeled the official team sunglasses, which varied in style as well as functionality. But the real question is how these duds will look with three particular colors: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
