Radiohead Announce Italian Earthquake Benefit Show

Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood will perform in Le Marche to aid restoration efforts

By Jazz Monroe.

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood will perform as a duo in Italy next month to help restoration efforts in Le Marche, an Italian region devastated by recent earthquakes. The show, described as a one-off, will take place at the open-air stadium Macerata Sferisterio on August 20. Successive tremors have hit the Marche region in recent months, with aftershocks from last August’s catastrophic earthquake in central Italy hindering restoration. Radiohead are now on tour behind last year’s A Moon Shaped Pool. They headline Glastonbury this Friday.
