Rachel Leviss’ lawyers are not messing around. They are all too confident that they’ll win their revenge porn case against Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. Tom’s lawyers, however, returned confidence for confidence.

Recent legal documents showed Tom’s team saying the lawsuit was “a thinly veiled attempt to extend her fame and to rebrand herself as the victim.” The docs added, “Notably, since November of 2023 to the present date, LEVISS has actively maintained a provocative podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, to further bend the narrative to her will.”

Right, because Tom hasn’t bent the narrative at all, on or off Vanderpump Rules. Of course, the truth of the matter remains unknown. Nevertheless, Rachel’s team thinks the truth is obvious, and that Tom is doing his best to skirt it.

Rachel’s lawyers claim “irrefutable evidence” against Tom

On April 29, Mark Geragos and Bryan Freedman gave a statement to the press on behalf of Rachel. The statement read, “Sandoval’s response in the face of irrefutable evidence that will be presented in court is disturbing. Leveraging such claims for media attention and perpetuating victim-blaming is not just deplorable but actionable.”

This wouldn’t be the first time Rachel and her team have accused opponents of victim-blaming. When Lisa Vanderpump was first made aware of Rachel’s lawsuit by a pap, she said, “That’s ridiculous. I think if you don’t want to have somebody share your porn, then don’t send it to your best friend’s boyfriend, right?”

Rachel’s team soon put out a response. They called LVP’s words a “disappointing choice for an executive on the show since victim shaming is a defense mechanism often used by abusers and coming from a person in a position of power can cause even further harm to a person’s mental health.” Rachel herself later called the statement “very, very icky.”

Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
