Rachel Bloom has a mini-me on her hands.

While speaking to PEOPLE about her off-Broadway show Death, Let Me Do My Show, the actress, 36, also opens up about raising her 3-year-old daughter, who she says takes after her.

"Oh, she is hilarious. She's making up little parody songs," Bloom says, nodding to her own history of creating such tunes for projects throughout the years, including her The CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and various musical comedy albums.

When asked specifically if she has ever played any songs from her award-winning show for her daughter — whom she shares with Dan Gregor — Bloom says, "My husband does, and it's made me want to honestly, at some point, get on releasing some sort of children or clean re-edit of a lot of my songs."

"The songs are very catchy, but they're really dirty, and they're going over her head right now. She's just listening to the music," the mother of one adds. "But my husband puts some of the songs on, she likes to hear mom sing, and I'm like, 'Oh, I got to rerecord these songs.' "

Bloom and Gregor welcomed their daughter, whose name they have not yet shared publicly, in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“She’s here. She’s home,” Bloom captioned an Instagram post of her then-newborn resting on her chest at the time, before she revealed that she gave birth in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The actress first announced she was expecting back in September 2019 after winning her first Emmy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Bloom, who won the Emmy for best original music and lyrics, slipped in the exciting news when asked backstage what she had planned next after her feat.

Currently, Bloom tells PEOPLE that her little one is "very girly and princessy," though she's not entirely sure where those attributes came from.

"It's very interesting how I don't wear a lot of dresses, I don't wear a lot of skirts, and she, as well as other girls in her preschool class, just instantly want to dress like princesses and they want to wear dresses and gowns," she says. "It's nothing that I've taught her, it's just this gender identity embedded in her that I think is very interesting."

And while the proud mom notes that her daughter has "seen Disney Princess movies — totally," she adds, "But she's also watched other things."

"She watches Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, she watches Paw Patrol, and she's not necessarily trying to dress like Daniel Tiger," Bloom continues. "It's very interesting."

Tickets to see Bloom's Death, Let Me Do My Show, which is running through Jan. 6 at the Orpheum Theatre in New York City, can be purchased here.
