Rachel Bilson‘s new television show is not getting off to a good start after a family is so upset with production shooting in their neighborhood, they have filed suit to try and shut the show down.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Georgia woman named Teresa Howard is suing Twentieth Century Fox and the owners of a home next to hers. Howard lives in a $4 million Atlanta home with her husband and three school-aged children.

The suit claims that Bilson’s upcoming Fox show, “Lovestruck,” is currently shooting in Howard’s neighborhood. She claims production sent out a flyer to neighbors to inform them they would be using a home directly adjacent to hers for 17 days, with six days marked off for filming.

Bilson is scheduled to shoot starting March 29 (aka today) and the show would wrap on the location on April 8.

Howard says production recently told the neighbors they would be filming at all hours and even at night and the cast and crew would total over 100 people. She says the production informed neighbors to expect to see “large scale” equipment with “many technical vehicles” and they plan to close 1,500 feet of road for the duration of filming.

In the lawsuit, Howard accuses production of obtaining filming permits by not telling the truth about filming hours to the city and the type of shoot.

She is suing demanding an injunction to stop the production ASAP. The judge has yet to rule.

“Lovestruck” is written by Tom Kapinos, famous for “Californication” and “Lucifer.” In addition to Rachel Bilson, the show also stars Andie MacDowell, Richard Roxburgh, Kathleen Turner, Madeline Wise and Usman Ally.
