R. Kelly's Ex-Girlfriend Azriel Clary Shares Family Reunion Photos After Leaving Singer For Good
R. Kelly’s ex-girlfriend Azriel Clary has reunited with her parents after years of being disconnected from her family.
22-year-old Azriel posted a series of photos on Instagram of her family reunion. In the photos, Azriel is seen with her parents, Angelo and Alice Clary. The three of them look extremely happy and even wore matching outfits.
Azriel’s parents were outspoken against Kelly for being with their daughter for years. They pleaded with Azriel publicly, attempted to perform welfare checks and never gave up fighting for her.
Azriel captioned the photos, “surprise🥳 Let the healing process begin. The last couple months have been lifechanging for Azriel. She stayed by Kelly’s side for four years amid the sexual abuse allegations. Azriel left the singer’s Trump Tower condo in Chicago in December. She moved into her own place after having enough of the drama.
Earlier this month, she showed up to the condo to collect her belongings. She ran into Kelly’s other girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, while inside. She accused Joycelyn of having sex with her while she was underage. The two got into a physical altercation which ended with Joycelyn being arrested. She is facing one year behind bars if convicted.
Following the arrest, Azriel tweet, “Joycelyn is sadly in jail for assault, I thank everyone for sending me lots of love and prayers. You all will know everything sooner than later. 🦋🙏🏿”
After the “Surviving R. Kelly” finale, Azriel said, “It’s not about sides, it’s about me doing what’s best for me and me coming to the realization as a young woman, and more importantly knowing that my past does not define me.
