R. Kelly’s ex-girlfriend Azriel Clary is shutting down the disgraced singer’s claim she is only seeking publicly with her accusations against him.
22-year-old Azriel fired off a tweet after being accused of being a clout chaser writing, “To everyone saying I’m a “clout chaser”🤦🏾♀ please KNOW I would’ve made it with or without Robert. I had drive, ambitions and goals before Robert and I have them after. He was NOT the first celebrity I had met, he was just the FIRST to take advantage of me. I’m just smarter now💯😴”

In the past couple weeks, Azriel moved out of Kelly’s Trump Tower condo in Chicago. She has been vocal on social media since splitting with Kelly.
On “Surviving R. Kelly Part II”, producers revealed Azriel had reunited with her family after years of not speaking. She is moving into her own place and finally telling her side of the story.
Earlier this week, Azriel attempted to collect her belongings from the condo when she encountered Kelly’s other girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage. The two had been together for years while dating Kelly. They gave the infamous interview to Gayle King standing by the alleged child sex predator.
At the condo, Azriel accused Joycelyn of having sex with her while she was underage. Joycelyn started to become upset and started physically attacking Azriel. She fled the scene before cops were able to arrive. She would later turn herself into police. She was arrested on one count of misdemeanor domestic battery. Joycelyn is facing up to one year in jail if convicted.
Following the fight, R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, released a statement about the fight. He said, "I have a statement written by Azriel that she provided to me, voluntarily, after Robert was already in jail, that said she never had sex with him when she was underaged."
He added, "As far as this little catfight, it is clear that it was staged to try and boost social media popularity."
Azriel clearly feels otherwise.
