R&CPMK’s Cheryl Maisel Launches Her Own Company Maisel PR

EXCLUSIVE: After nearly three decades at R&CPMK and its predecessors, Cheryl Maisel is leaving to launch her own public relations firm, Maisel PR. She will be bringing to the new company her clients, many of whom have been with her for many years. The list includes Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves, Robin Wright, Leslie Odom, Jr. and Lauren Graham, among others.

Over the past couple of decades, Maisel, who most recently served as EVP at RCPMK, has been a driving force behind several Academy campaigns, including The English Patient, Blindside and Gravity, as well as a creative strategist for blockbuster franchises The Matrix and John Wick.

“The decision to open Maisel PR is a culmination of years of passion for entertainment publicity and a desire to provide clients with personalized, strategic communication solutions,” Maisel said.

After a stunt at Rogers & Cowan, Maisel returned to PMK*BNC in 2010. The two companies merged in 2019 to form R&CPMK.
