The Quintessential Quintuplets Games Based on Hit Anime Coming to US

Spike Chunsoft announced on Friday that a handful of The Quintessential Quintuplets games will be making their way to the West this summer.

The Quintessential Quintuplets – Memories of a Quintessential Summer and The Quintessential Quintuplets – Five Memories Spent With You, two visual novels that came out in 2021 and 2022 in Japan, respectively, are set to release on May 23, 2024.

The games will be available on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and will be available as digital downloads.

Fans can purchase the games separately, but can also pick up the game as a two-pack in the form of The Quintessential Quintuplets Double Pack. From May 23-May 30, the games will also be discounted by 10% for those looking to pick up either of the games or the Double Pack.

What is The Quintessential Quintuplets?

Both games are based on the hit manga series The Quintessential Quintuplets debuted in 2017, and has quickly become one of the biggest properties. The series follows the story of high-school student Futaro Uesugi, who is hired as a tutor for a group of identical quintuplets.

Throughout its production, The Quintessential Quintuplets has sold over 20 million copies of the manga, making it one of the best-selling manga series in Japan. In 2019, the manga also won an award at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards.
