Quinta Brunson is manifesting a magical Abbott Elementary guest star: Daniel Radcliffe!

Brunson, 34, visited the Harry Potter star backstage after a Sunday matinee performance of Broadway’s Merrily We Roll Along, in which Radcliffe stars alongside Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez.

“Best cast, best play,” wrote the Abbott creator-star in a story on her Instagram, posting a photo of her posing with Radcliffe, Groff and Mendez.

The recent Emmy winner, who launches season 3 of Abbott in a two-episode premiere this Wednesday on ABC, starred opposite Radcliffe, 34, in the hit 2022 biopic-parody Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. The TV movie featured Radcliffe as musician Weird Al, with Brunson making one of its many comedic cameos as Oprah Winfrey.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly posted as part of the Around the Table series, Brunson and the Abbott cast discussed some of the ideas for guest stars on the hit sitcom — including Radcliffe.

“He's a very good, sweet guy and a friend of mine,” she said of her Weird costar. Brunson added that he could join the world of Abbott “not like Daniel Radcliffe as somebody, like Daniel Radcliffe [as himself].”

The idea, she added, was that Radcliffe would appear as the son of Mr. Johnson (played by William Stanford Davis). “And there's no rhyme or reason. It's so dumb.”

Abbott costars Sheryl Lee Ralph, Lisa Ann Walters, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Tyler James Williams and Davis chimed in with other casting ideas that had been floated. Diana Ross, Pedro Pascal, Joe Pesci, Solange, Marla Gibbs and Halle Berry were among the dream guest stars. “Meryl does TV now,” said Perfetti, manifesting a Meryl Streep guest star role.

Taraji P. Henson, Ayo Edebiri, Lauren Weedman, Leslie Odom Jr. and Gritty have made appearances in the world of Abbott.

The Radcliffe-led revival of Merrily We Roll Along, which composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim first premiered in 1981, marks the British star's fifth Broadway credit after earning raves for Equus, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and more.

Of potentially working with Brunson again, Radcliffe told Variety in a red carpet interview in January, "We should do something together," saying that he’d “love to do more rom-coms.”

He added at the time, “We're a perfect height match, so really there's a future in this."
