Quick Trim, Deer? Birds Pluck Fur From Grazing Animal's Back at Richmond Park

A group of birds decided to give a deer a bit of a haircut at Richmond Park in London on March 28.

Footage captured by photographer Paul Browning shows the birds perched on the deer’s back, plucking away tufts of fur.

The deer doesn’t seem too bothered about the unsolicited trim, concentrating instead on eating some grass as the feathered little thieves take what they need from its coat. Credit: Paul Browning via Storyful
