Tan France's love life is even more stunning than his incredible sense of style.

In a podcast interview, he reveals how he almost didn't join the cast of 'Queer Eye' so that he could start a family with his hubby, Rob France.

So how did their love story begin? Tan had “never met a gay guy that didn’t drink in England," he told Terry Gross in on her NPR show, Fresh Air and in that sense, he was like a "unicorn." While Tan and Rob had a very different upbringing, this similarity brought them together.

“Yes, we lived worlds apart,” France explained, 'but his day-to-day' was strikingly similar. “Understanding of each other’s life is very easy because we both practice the same way."

Tan had truly believed that he wouldn't meet anyone who shared his views on alcohol. Despite being against it, Tan explained, “I started to drink with my boyfriends even though I hated it just to feel like I was fitting in with that crowd." Tan realized that he couldn't be in a relationship with someone who lived that lifestyle.

“I knew that I was gonna be relatively unhappy in a relationship if I was dating someone that drank,” he said.

Rob was relieved that once he found Rob, he didn't feel the need to succumb to that peer pressure. Tan even joked on the podcast that he was “shocked that there were Caucasian people out there who didn’t drink alcohol.”

“It’s bliss. Blissful!” France said about his adorable marriage. “I could write ten books about how much I love my husband.”

To this day, Tan and his husband don't indulge in these vices. “Neither of us drink, smoke, dance or gamble,” France said.

Tan was also on the podcast to promote his book "Natually Tan." The book is a memoir covering all eras of his life. He also promoted the book on Instagram with a picture of the cover captioned, "Did you know I have a book coming out? I don't think I mentioned it enough. It's called #NaturallyTan!" Can't wait to read it!
