“Queer Eye”'s Bobby Berk Offers to Decorate Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s House: 'Slide Into My DMs'

A new prospective client has caught Bobby Berk’s eye: Gypsy Rose Blanchard!

On Monday, the interior designer and Queer Eye star, 42, took to Instagram to offer his design services to the 32-year-old Munchausen by proxy syndrome victim, who was released from prison last month after serving eight years for her role in her mother's murder.

"Gypsy, I do agree with you, the D is fire. Fire design,” he began in the video, a nod to her viral Instagram comment about her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson.

“I can only imagine how crazy it’s been transitioning from prison bars to an actual home that is yours,” he continued, adding that he has “the privilege of redesigning people’s homes at oftentimes big transitions in their life.”

Berk then proceeded to point out a series of “coincidences” that tie him to Blanchard.

The Queer Eye and Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard stars have both lived in Springfield, Missouri. Berk was born there and Blanchard lived there with her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.

The reality star also brought up that Blanchard recently moved in with Anderson in Louisiana, which is where the most recent seasons of Queer Eye were filmed, and shared that he designed the home of Joey King, who portrayed Blanchard on The Act.

"So, I just thought, there’s too many coincidences for me to not help you design your home,” Berk said.

"Bottom line, your home should reflect who you are and who you’ve become and who you’ve grown [into] as a person,” he continued, “and I would love to offer my design services to come help you make your home just that.”

"So, hey, hit me up,” he added. “Slide into my DMs. Let me know.”

Last November, Berk announced Queer Eye’s eighth season would be his last on the hit Netflix series, which also stars Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown and Jonathan Van Ness.

In a heartfelt letter announcing his exit on Instagram addressed to “the Queer Eye Community who have become family to me,” the designer wrote, “The love that I have received from you all over the last 6 years has been absolutely surreal. You have tuned in and been dedicated fans and together we were able to share the healing powers of design."

"I learned from you all about kindness, love and acceptance and that has changed my life for the better," he continued. "The way you have embraced me and accepted me for who I am is something that l will truly carry with me for the rest of my life.”

At the end of the message, Berk confirmed his departure, writing, “It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye. It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one. Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon.”
