The plot unfolds with Hwang Do-hee, a fixer of a South Korean conglomerate working to cover up years of abuse and wrongful practices by the Eunsung Group. Led by powerful chairwoman Son Young-sim, the group is piling up with dirt, be it sexual assault, child labor, or wrongful terminations. However, these misdeeds catch the eye of civil rights lawyer Oh Kyung-sook. A by-the-books lawyer who works only for the righteous makes it her mission to unmask the wrongdoings of Eunsung Group but instead gets involved with them due to an unfortunate accident.

The cast of Queenmakers includes Kim Hee-ae as Hwang Do-hee along with Seo Yi-sook as Son Young-sim and Moon So-ri as Oh Kyung-sook. Other cast members include Ryu Soo-young in the role of Baek Jae-min and Ok Ja-yeon as Guk Ji-yeon.
