Queen of Tears is an upcoming and highly anticipated romance K-drama. The series stars actress Kim Ji-Won as the main female character, Hong Hae-In and Kim Soo-Hyun as the main male character, Baek Hyun-Woo. The rom-com series will make its debut on Saturday, March 9, 2024, on tvN. The Korean drama series will also arrive on Netflix the same day.
tvN dropped two brand-new Queen of Tears posters on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, on its official Instagram channel. These two posters feature Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won as the lead pair of the series, Baek Hyun-Woo and Hong Hae-In. By the look of the posters, it is evident that the K-drama will chronicle a story about a complicated marriage between Hong Hae-In and Baek Hyun-Woo.

The new posters for Queen of Tears display Kim Soo-Hyun as Baek Hyun-Woo and Kim Ji-Won as Hong Hae-In. In one poster, Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won are standing close to each other as their respective characters. They are holding one another like a couple. Although the two are smiling in the poster, a drop of tears is flowing down from the eyes of Kim Ji-Won’s Hong Hae-In.
The poster denotes the complex nature of their marriage. The other newly released poster of Queen of Tears by tvN shows Kim Ji-Won and Kim Soo-Hyun sitting on a couch. They are maintaining a good amount of distance between each other. Moreover, the poster hints at the difficulties in their characters’ marriage, creating distance between the two characters.
Thus, it is understandable that the upcoming new Korean series will depict a romantic story revolving around a complex marriage.
