Queen of Tears, starring Kim Ji-Won and Kim Soo-Hyun, concluded with a happy ending. The viewers are going gaga about it. Since the finale episode was released, many fan theories have been making rounds on the internet, a few of which are making quite a buzz.
The rom-com is about a married couple who make their way out after reaching rock bottom in their marriage. Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) is the chaebol heiress of the Queens Group and the wife, while Baek Hyun-Woo is the husband and the legal director of the same group. The drama is about love, family, jealousy, greed, power games, and more.

Spoilers ahead. After the show ended, fans created their own theories about the drama’s storyline to give it a proper ending. One theory speculates that when Hong Hae-In was hallucinating during the phase when she was diagnosed with the rare tumor, it was actually glimpses of her future.

Earlier in one of the episodes of Queen of Tears, Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) hallucinates a snow-filled area. It turns out to be a scene from the last episode where Yoon Eun-Sung shoots Baek Sung-Hyun (Kim Soo-Hyun). In another scene, Hong Hae-In is seen walking amid the fields of flowers, which is actually the field from their Germany trip where Hyun-Woo is seen waiting for his wife in his old age.

In another episode of Queen of Tears, when Hong Hae-In and Baek Hyun-Woo take a stroll in the cemetery, she hallucinates an old person visiting his wife’s tomb with a bunch of flowers. It turns out to be Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun) from the future.
Not only these, but fans have also speculated another theory. In the last scene of the finale episode of Queen of Tears, when an old Hyun-Woo stands alone in the field, Hae-In comes wearing a white dress. She looks nothing like an angel. As per the theories, Hae-In keeps her promise, which she made long back to Hyun-Woo, that after she dies, she will come as an angel to take him away. So, according to fans, Baek Hyun-Woo also dies by the end of the drama and follows his wife to heaven.
