Queen Of England: Ok, I'll Support Harry And Meghan Moving To Canada

The Queen of England just issued a statement supporting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step back in their royal duties and live part-time in Canada.

The statement comes on the heels of a family meeting held with her son Prince Charles and both grandsons Prince Harry and Prince William. The Queen called the meeting after Harry and wife Meghan Markle went public saying they are moving out of the UK and becoming financially independent.

"Today my family had a very constructive discussion on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan's desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family," the Queen began.

She continued, "Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days."

Harry And Meghan Will Transition Into New Life

It appears from the comments, that the transition financially and the living situation has a few more things to be worked out. We are guessing even when they are in North America there will need to be coordination with the Royal security. Also, it's unclear if the transition will be helpful for the couple to get financially on their feet and be independent from the public funds.

As we reported, William and Harry denied there is any beef between them, and even put out a powerful denial to the media.

No Beef Between Prince Harry And Prince William

In the statement, William and Harry’s said, “Despite clear denials, a false story ran in a UK newspaper today speculating about the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge. For brothers who care so deeply about the issues surrounding mental health, the use of inflammatory language in this way is offensive and potentially harmful.”

A few reports claimed William was not very excepting of Meghan into the Royal family and was "bullying" his brother into wanting to leave the UK.

In one UK newspaper report, it was claimed William "insufficiently welcoming to Meghan when she first started dating Harry."

The public believed Harry may have confirmed the speculation in an interview during a TV documentary where he said the brothers were on “different paths”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced last week they would be stepping back from their royal duties, and spending time living in Canada.
