So this alleged romance is a wild ride, to put it lightly. But it seems as though Queen Elizabeth II’s sister Princess Margaret reportedly had a romance with Eddie Fisher, also known as Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor’s ex-husband.

Fisher’s fourth wife Terry Richard recently spoke with the DailyMail about her upcoming memoir Beauty Queen Dreams, and the crazy stories she’s heard of throughout her life: including her ex-husband’s royal affair.

Fisher, formerly married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor and Connie Stevens, told a UPI photographer that “this is the first time” that he “is really married.”

Richard claimed Fisher bragged “multiple times” about the “explosive sex” he and Margaret had after meeting in their early 20s back in 1953 during the Red, White and Blue charity ball at the Dorchester Hotel in London.

“Eddie never talked about Princess Margaret in public, he respected her too much, but he told me about their encounter many, many times during our marriage. He looked back on it with great affection,” Richard said. “Eddie was smitten with her the first time he saw her.”

She added, “He told me she was tiny with the most beautiful piercing blue eyes. He sang for 45 minutes at the ball and directed all his love songs straight at Margaret. When Eddie turned on the charm, he really turned it on. Eddie told me she was a girl who knew exactly what she wanted, and on the night of the ball she wanted him.”

They potentially had one more passionate night together, but then he also carried on a romance with her lady-in-waiting Iris. “He was pretty proud of himself for sleeping with the Princess and her lady-in-waiting. I have no idea if Princess Margaret knew he slept with Iris,” Richard added.
