Queen Elizabeth II Will Say A Lot With Her Christmas Speech
The Queen's annual Christmas speech is a tradition many look forward to every year, and this year, more than ever, after all the scandals that have rocked the royal family.
Everyone is curious to know what Queen Elizabeth II will have to say; will she mention the scandal involving Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein? Will she allude to all the drama going on with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?
It's been quite a year for the royal family, and the Queen has seemingly kept her mouth closed about all of it, in public at least.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Were Left Out
One of the most notable parts of the Queen's speech every year are the pictures she displays on her desk. This year, quite curiously, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were left out.
A picture of Prince Charles and Camilla was there, next to a picture of Prince Philip, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Christmas card, and the Queen's father King George VI.
This comes after rumors that Prince Charles will choose to "slim down" the monarchy when he takes the throne. Clearly, the pictures the Queen chose to display show proof of this.
The Queen Displayed Pictures Of Her Heirs
While the lack of a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might seem like a snub from the Queen, especially considering the fact that they didn't attend Christmas at Sandringham, royal watchers say otherwise.
Apparently, the portraits only included her predecessor and future heirs to the throne, so it wasn't an overt sign that the Queen was angry with her grandson and his wife.
Possibly we're all looking a little too closely at things, especially after Prince Harry and Meghan stayed away from Sandringham this year.
The Queen Will Allude To The Turmoil Of 2019
In excerpts from the speech released by Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II says, "Small steps taken in faith and in hope can overcome long-held differences and deep-seated divisions to bring harmony and understanding. The path, of course, is not always smooth, and may at times this year have felt quite bumpy, but small steps can make a world of difference."
This appears to be a veiled reference to the scandal and turmoil the royal family has faced this year, after multiple controversies in the media almost every day.
Prince Philip Released From Hospital
On a happy note, Prince Philip was recently released from the hospital and is expected to join the rest of the family for Christmas at Sandringham.
This will come as great news to the Queen, especially considering the tough year the family has been through, and the fact that Meghan and Harry aren't attending the holiday celebration.
This also may be the first year that Prince George and Princess Charlotte walk to church with the family, though the decision won't be made until the same morning.
What will the Queen say in next year's speech? Will 2020 be a redemption year for the royals or will there be more scandals?
