Queen Camilla is a passionate reader, and today at an event celebrating the power of literature, she spoke about her dream fictional destination.
While at the Charleston Festival in Sussex, the Queen was asked by a young child, "Are there any fictional places you would like to travel to and why?"
She replied, "The one place I won't be going to is the Cat in the Hat," to laughter from the crowd, before continuing, "One place I think I’d love to go is Hogwarts. I’d like to jump on the express and sit in that wonderful hall and pick a house. I’d like to look at Dumbledore and Hagrid and Snape, and see all the pics going mad and the food flying about, I think it would be a magical experience."

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
This isn't the first time Camilla has spoken about her love for Harry Potter. On the first episode of the Queen's Reading Room Podcast, she revealed it was her favorite book to read with her grandchildren. On the same podcast, she said, "I can’t mimic voices for love or money, I’m completely hopeless at it. I was a really bad actor at school, and I’ve never been able to master the art of mimicry. But my husband [King Charles], he does it brilliantly. He can do all the voices."
Queen Camilla has five grandchildren, and is very close to them. At the coronation last year, her dress even featured a tribute to her grandchildren, and three of her grandsons served as pages of honor.
