Quavo is lending his hand — or his handwriting, rather — to a new pair of adidas headphones.

More from Rolling Stone

The Grammy-nominated rapper just released a pair of limited-edition earbuds: The adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC Quavo. Based on adidas’ Z.N.E. 01 ANC headphones (which came out last year) Quavo’s customized ‘buds feature handwritten lyrics from the rapper’s unreleased album, Cheat Code, scribbled in silver across the charging case. The handwriting continues on the earbuds, with “Quavo Huncho” written on the left earbud and “Cheat Code” on the right.

Available now at adidasheadphones.com, the Z.N.E. 01 ANC Quavo earbuds are priced at $200 and limited to 150 units, so act fast if you want to secure a pair for yourself.

Inside the Quavo headphones, you’ll find some impressive audio tech, including powerful active noise cancellation (ANC) to block out chatter, airplane din, or loud streets. This noise cancellation can be switched off to “awareness mode” if you need to hear your surroundings. Geared towards athletes (in light of Quavo’s love for basketball), the earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, and come with multiple gummy ear tips for a secure fit — even while running or playing sports.

“Collaborating on the limited-edition Z.N.E 01 ANC while also finalizing my upcoming album has been the biggest blessing,” Quavo tells Rolling Stone. “I listen to the music I’m working on almost always on the move, so having earbuds with high-quality sound and noise canceling really helps me to get in the zone.”

Quavo’s work with adidas Headphones began last year, when the rapper appeared in a cinematic spot announcing the Z.N.E 01 earbuds. Speaking to Rolling Stone last year, Huncho said he was impressed by the Z.N.E 01s: “They’re super light, super wireless [and] crazy. You can hoop with them, you can play with them, you can work out with them,” he says, adding that, “I played my first one-on-one game in them and they ain’t never [fall out]. Headphones always fall out of your ear.”

Whatever he’s doing — be it working on new music, playing basketball, or performing on the road — the rapper says he’s been using adidas’ new earbuds to help him achieve focus: “It’s like you being in your own zone, like you’re locking into your own mental,” he says of the earbuds’ noise-cancelling properties. “You’re channeling yourself. It’s just you and the music and the world is canceled out. You on your tunnel vision. I feel like it gives you that perfect tunnel vision moment […]. Everything is slow-mo and you don’t hear nothing and I think those headphones kinda make you do that.”

Now, Quavo is excited to put his own spin on the Z.N.E 01 ANC earbuds in the limited-edition drop. “I’m excited to be teaming back up with adidas Headphones to offer my fans these limited-edition earbuds designed by me with style, sound, and music in mind,” he says, in a statement.

The Migos member also notes how his upcoming album prompted the adidas Headphones collab: “When working on my new album, I hand wrote lyrics on a note, which later inspired this collaboration and concept for the headphones,” he says. That new album, Cheat Code, is due out soon. Quavo has been teasing a single off the album, “Hotel Lobby,” which features fellow Migos member Takeoff. Per Quavo’s Instagram posts, the track is due out on May 20.

“We are so excited to be continuing our partnership with Quavo on this limited-edition design that combines the ultimate audio experience in a customized look,” says adidas Headphones Creative Design Lead Ella Renneus, in a statement. “Quavo’s eye for fresh design marries perfectly with our earbuds that fuse together innovation and the highest quality materials.”
