Jared Goff went through pregame warmups apparently without incident and is expected to start in the Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving game today against the Chicago Bears.

Goff went through his normal pregame passing drill with receivers running routes on air about 90 minutes before kickoff, splitting reps with backup quarterback Tim Boyle.

The Lions kept Goff and Boyle active Thursday, and made third-string quarterback David Blough inactive.

Goff strained his oblique in the Lions' Week 10 tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers and sat out last week's loss to the Cleveland Browns. Boyle made his first career start against the Browns, completing 15 of 23 passes for 77 yards.

Goff has said he would not play if he felt limited in any way. He completed 24 of 38 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns in an October loss to the Bears, when he posted a season-high passer rating (105).
