New PVRIS Is Here: Watch Chilling ‘Heaven’ Video, Get Sophomore Album Details

Fall Out Boy and Paramore announced new albums last month, and to lead off May, one of their scene’s most promising up-and-coming groups have unleashed details for their second full length.

Massachusetts-based, goth-tinged electro-rockers PVRIS are here with “Heaven,” the grandiose lead single from their dramatically titled new album All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell. PVRIS ain’t messing around. Watch the music video below.

The LP drops Aug. 4 (via Rise Records), so we’ve got plenty of time to get ready for this one. PVRIS hasn’t shared a full track listing, but we do know the new album’s ten tracks long, and leads off with “Heaven.” It’s an apt opener; sparse piano and finger snaps set the mood, then the song explodes a chorus packed with thunderous drumming and eyes-closed, fists-clenched belting from Lynn Gunn.

The trio (which also includes guitarist Alex Babinski, bassist Brian MacDonald) released its debut album White Noise in Nov. 2014.

To promote the new album, they’ve already got plenty of tour dates lined up, including headline shows, festival dates and opening gigs on tour with Muse and 30 Seconds to Mars. Find those dates here.
