Pumpkinfest returns to the Tile Works in Doylestown. When to check it out
Pumpkinfest 2023 is set to return to Doylestown this season after a year hiatus.
The two-day celebration will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works on East Swamp Road and run through 8 p.m.
A pumpkin-carving contest, judged by local celebrities, and performances by the School of Rock and Faux Friends fill out the bill on Saturday. The event brings out master carvers who compete with intricate designs and themes that are showcased throught the concrete Tile Works courtyard.

The party starts up again at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29.
On Sunday, there will be a "Trunk or Treat" event, along with performances by Faux Friends.
A jack o'lantern viewing session will round out the festivities on Sunday.
There will also be a bevy of food trucks, informational booths set up by the Rainbow Room and youth artists, and Immigrant RIghts Action group.
Ben's Balloons will be on hand all weekend, providing unique balloon art.

Pumpkinfest returns after being called off in 2022
Pumpkinfest, the 30-year Halloween tradition that drew large crowds was cancelled last year over a rift between the nonprofit organizing the event and the Central Bucks School District.
CB Cares Educational Foundation is back as the prime sponsor for Pumpkinfest 2023.

At the time, CB Cares Educational Foundation President Phil Ehlinger said the two-day Pumpkinfest was on "hiatus" but said it would return to the Tile Works courtyard in 2023.
