PUMA Taps Gen Z Leaders to Champion Sustainability

Iconic footwear brand PUMA is paving the way for a brighter future with the launch of its sustainability podcast series RE:GEN REPORTS, spotlighting 10 Gen Z leaders fighting for change.

To further drive education and awareness, PUMA will host 10 podcast episodes, bringing emerging trailblazers, industry experts and progressive thinkers together.
"We believe in collaboration, when it comes to sustainability, whether it is NGOs, brands or consumers, especially young people, who will have to live with the decisions made today," Anne-Laure Descours, Chief Sourcing Officer at PUMA shares in an exclusive press release. "During last year's Conference of the People, we saw that we needed to do more to reach out to younger generations when we talk about sustainability. A sustainability report as a podcast has never been done before in our industry, but we believe it is an important step to connect with GEN-Z audiences and open up these important conversations."

Among them are Anya Dillard, an award-winning activist, model and social entrepreneur, Andrew Burgess, an up-cycler who is changing the fashion world with his innovative designs, alongside Luke Jaque-Rodney, a Germany-based sustainable and healthy living influencer. Each episode of RE:GEN REPORTS will tackle one of PUMA's 10for25 sustainability targets as Dillard discusses human rights with Viola Wan, the brand's Teamhead of Social Sustainability based in China, whereas harmful chemicals in fashion becomes a pivotal topic of conversation for Jaque-Rodney and Klaas Nuttbohm from ZDHC, an organization working to eliminate them. An additional seven episodes will be released weekly from June 8 until July 20.
