‘Pulse’ series filming in Albuquerque

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Film Office (NMFO) has announced the filming of a new Netflix series. “Pulse” will be filming in and around Albuquerque through August.

According to the film office, the show will star Will Fitzgerald (“The Fall of the House of Usher”), Colin Woodell (“The Continental: From the World of John Wick”), and Justina Machado (“The Horror of Dolores Roach”). It will tell the story of a Level 1 trauma center in Miami and a young ER doctor who is unexpectedly promoted to the chief resident.

“We are thrilled to announce another Netflix series that will be made right here in New Mexico,” said NMFO Director Amber Dodson. “Netflix is a New Mexico film partner, having made a decade-long commitment to invest in production, infrastructure, and job creation. Series such as “Pulse” create positive economic impact and opportunities for residents and businesses statewide while featuring our landscapes to a global audience.”

The film office says over 200 New Mexico will be employed by the production including 200 crew members and 30 background talent.
