For the first time since achieving worldwide fame with “Gangnam Style,” PSY has released a new album. Simply named Psy 7th Album (when you translate its Korean title), the nine-track LP is promoted by two new singles and features a star-studded cast of Ed Sheeran, will.i.am, CL, Zion.T, Gaeko and more.

PSY Set to Release First Album Since Game-Changing ‘Gangnam Style’

More from Billboard

The first single is “Daddy,” which features CL (of 2NE1 fame who shares manager Scooter Braun with PSY) handling the hook. The track — which was originally scheduled for release last August — is another high-energy, electronic rap-dance track in the same lane as past PSY hits “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman,” but the accompanying video will probably be its main talking point. The goofy MC superimposes himself on the bodies of a schoolboy, hairy ballroom dancer and several senior citizens for his most enjoyable visual since his breakout viral vid. Look out for CL to make a cameo in the middle of the video.

Meanwhile, PSY also dropped the video to his other new single, “Napal Baji” (roughly translating to “Bell Bottoms” in Korean), which utilizes a trendy funk sound heard all over radio today.

As expected, the video is filled with loads of bell bottoms and ’70s-inspired looks. Most interestingly, though, is similar to how his “Gentleman” video incorporated the famous hip-shaking dance from Brown Eyed Girls“Abracadabra,” PSY seems to have incorporated another famous K-pop move here. On the hook, he holds one arm out while the other punches to the beat behind and in front of him. It’s very similar to the famous move from T-ara‘s “Roly Poly” single, a huge, disco-inspired hit in Korea from 2011. Compare the moves at 4:40 below:

PSY’s new album also features a slew of superstars from all over the world. The YouTube king is joined by Ed Sheeran on a trappy rework of the Brit’s single “Sing,” will.i.am on the banger “ROCKnROLLbaby,” Korean R&B superstar Zion.T on “I Remember You,” Gaeko of veteran hip-hop act Dynamic Duo on “Ahjussi Swag,” singer Xia of beloved K-pop boy band JYJ, and Korea’s veteran rock singer Jun In Kwon.
