Protesters Run for Cover in Central Myanmar Town During Anti-Military Protests

At least 12 protesters were killed during anti-military demonstrations on March 11, according to reports, with several fatalities reported in Myaing in central Mynamar.

Around eight people were shot dead in the small town of Myaing, in central Myanmar, according to media reports. Security forces have cracked down on protests that had been ongoing since the military took over the country in early February.
