Property Submerged by Water as New South Wales Braces for More Flooding

A property in Taree, New South Wales, was submerged in floodwater on March 21, as parts of the state remained on high alert for more flooding.

The Bureau of Meteorology expected Monday to bring the worst of the flooding event to the state, as two sources of rain were expected to merge.

Severe weather warnings and evacuation orders were in place for large swathes of NSW on March 22, while the state’s Premier Gladys Berejiklian said 18,000 people had been evacuated from their homes. Credit: fionaludeke via Storyful
