"I guess if we're going to show this…"

What’s one way to tell the Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott apart? The answer might be hidden in their pants, as the home-reno TV icons teased to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

The reveal came amid Live With Kelly and Mark’s wild new twin-centric episode, which began Friday with Ripa and Consuelos welcoming a studio audience filled entirely with identical twins.

Later, the pair brought the Property Brothers out for an interview, during which Jonathan revealed “the only way [our mom] could tell us apart, because our voices sound exactly the same, [was that] Jonathan uses bigger words,” he said.

“People are always talking about how twins are exactly the same, but how are you two different?” Ripa asked, which prompted Jonathan to stand up from his chair and pretend to pull down his pants, with Drew following his lead.

“I guess if we’re going to show this…” Jonathan joked, which elicited applause and laughter from the audience. “No, it was a tattoo!” he said to the crowd. “You’re sick, all of you!”

Later, Drew answered the question in earnest, telling Ripa that he was “the athletically gifted one” of the pair. “Everything else is pretty much the same. We play off of each other. We definitely have that twintuition.

Ripa touted her own theory that “twins have telepathy,” and Jonathan confirmed it by telling a story about how he once felt his brother’s pain, even though they weren’t physically in the same space.

"I woke up and my knee was so sore," Jonathan recalled. "I don’t know what happened. I took the morning off, and I was talking to my parents that day and they were like, 'That’s so weird because Drew blew his knee out in a basketball game.' Same knee, same everything. Somehow I felt it.”
