Prom season doesn't usually start until at least April, but grown-up partygoers can get an early start next week at The Prom 2024.

Attendees are encouraged to don their gnarliest '80s garb for a tubular evening of eating, drinking and being merry — while helping to make children's dreams come true — at the Feb. 3 event, which supports Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.

Founded in 1983, Make-A-Wish OKI has granted more than 20,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses and in fiscal year 2023, made 1,205 wishes come true. Currently, more than 300 kids in central Ohio are waiting for a wish, according to a statement from the organization.

Last year’s event, called the "Mom Prom," raised more than $118,000 for Make-A-Wish OKI and organizers expect this year to be totally rad as well.

In addition, there will be a raffle for tickets to see New Kids on the Block with Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff on Aug. 23 at Nationwide Arena.
