Producer Bradley Thomas Supported by Family at Oscars 2024 1 Month After Death of Wife Isabelle

The 'Killers of the Flower Moon' producer is one of the film's four producers nominated in the Best Picture category at Sunday's Academy Awards

Killers of the Flower Moon producer Bradley Thomas was supported at the 2024 Oscars, just over one month after his wife's Isabelle's death.

Isabelle Thomas died by suicide at a Los Angeles hotel on Jan. 29, according to authorities. She was 39 years old. More than six weeks after Isabelle's death, Bradley appeared on the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards alongside his mother Medea Thomas and two children, Lucy and Charlie Thomas, whom he shares with ex-wife Hillary Matthews.

The producer is one of the four filmmakers nominated as part of Killers of the Flower Moon's Best Picture nomination, alongside writer-director Martin Scorsese and producers Daniel Friedkin and Daniel Lupi.

Online records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office listed Isabelle's death as a suicide, with "multiple traumatic injuries" listed under causes. The Los Angeles Police Department previously told PEOPLE officers responded the scene after reports of an incident at 1:20 p.m. local time on Jan. 29.

According to TMZ, which first reported news of Isabelle's death, the pair married in 2018. Thomas and Isabelle (née Lawrence) attended red carpet Hollywood events and premieres together over the years; prior to Isabelle's death, the pair most recently posed together at the 2024 BAFTA Tea Party at the Maybourne Beverly Hills on Jan. 13, in Beverly Hills, California.

Thomas was previously married to actress Matthews, whom he shares Lucy and Charlie with. Thomas and Isabelle separately shared two younger children, Poppy and Grace, per EuroNews; TMZ also reported the pair share two young children at the time of Isabelle's death.

Killers of the Flower Moon, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone, earned 10 nominations overall at the Academy Awards. The movie marked Thomas' first Oscar nomination; he started his Hollywood career as a producer on 1990s movies like Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin and There's Something About Mary. Prior to Killers of the Flower Moon, Thomas most recently worked on the 2023 Oscar nominee Triangle of Sadness and the 2022 Apple TV+ miniseries Black Bird.
