Priyanka Chopra Jonas Celebrates Hindu Festival in Sweet Photos with Daughter Malti

The actress and her singer husband, Nick Jonas, welcomed their first baby in January 2022

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with daughter Malti Marie.

On Tuesday, the actress, 41, posted a sweet series of photos on Instagram of her toddler daughter, 20 months, honoring the Hindu celebration with a Ganpati — a stuffed elephant representing the Hindu god of beginnings. Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival commemorating the birth of the Hindu god Ganesha.

Chopra Jonas, who shares Malti with husband Nick Jonas, captioned the post, “A girl and her Ganpati😍 Always with us.. wherever we go.. #ganpatibappamorya 🙏🏽 #ganeshchaturthi."

The carousel included pictures of Malti hugging the plush toy tightly, as well as images of Chopra Jonas's Mandir, the Hindu house of worship.

In August, Chopra Jonas shared a fun moment of her family having quality time in the Big Apple.

The Quantico actress showed her daughter enjoying Central Park and strolls on city sidewalks with her parents.

"August magic 🪄❤️✨," Chopra Jonas captioned the shots.

Earlier in the month, the "Sucker" singer posted a recap of his month on Instagram. In the photos, Jonas sat with his actress wife in the ocean and posed with their daughter at the time, while their family of three relaxed on vacation.

Another sweet snap showed Jonas holding his little girl as she dipped her feet into a pool built into a boat. The singer smiled while wrapping one arm around Malti, who wore an adorable blue bucket hat with smiley faces on it.

"July was a movie. ❤️," Jonas said.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in May, Chopra Jonas raved about her "magical" little girl.

"She is doing really well. She is here in New York with us," The White Tiger star said of her baby girl. "She is like magical. She doesn't jet lag. She sleeps whenever and she is the happiest, most joyous baby ever."
