Written and directed by Sofia Coppola, Priscilla — which is based on Priscilla Beaulieu Presley’s memoir Elvis and Me — follows Priscilla Beaulieu (Cailee Spaeny) meeting and falling in love with Elvis Presley (Jacob Elordi) at a military base in Germany when she was a teenager. When she finally agrees to move in to the rock star’s luxurious Memphis estate, Beaulieu’s love affair with the King of Rock and Roll turns sour when she realizes he’s controlling, cold, abusive and isolating.
