Princess Madeleine of Sweden is celebrating her mother on her special day!
The Swedish royal, 41, shared a post on Instagram Saturday to celebrate Queen Silvia's milestone 80th birthday.
In the image, Queen Silvia could be seen at her palace, blowing out candles on a large two-tiered pink cake as several of her grandchildren surrounded her.
The kids featured in the photograph wore golden pointy birthday hats as they gathered in a half-circle around the table in formal wear. Queen Silvia, meanwhile, could be seen wearing a black jacket and slacks with a red top.

“Wishing Mamma and 'Mormor' a happy happy birthday! 🥳❤️🥳,” Princess Madeleine wrote in her caption.
The official Instagram page for the Swedish royals also shared a behind-the-scenes video of how the grandchildren pulled off the surprise, which was set to the song “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang.
In the clip, Queen Silvia’s grandchildren could be seen laying out pieces of pink ribbon on the table in preparation for the party. Princess Madeleine also made a cameo, helping the kids with the setup, before staff came by to light up the dozens of candles on the cake.

The video then cut to a surprised Queen Silvia, who walked through the door to find her grandchildren around her birthday cake, clapping for her as she made her way to the table.
The video was captioned, “Grattis på 80-årsdagen, Mormor/Farmor! 💓,” which translates to “Happy 80th birthday, Grandma!”

The milestone event is another big celebration for the Swedish royals after King Carl XVI Gustaf, Sweden's longest-reigning monarch, celebrated his 50th year on the throne in early 2023.
To ring in the milestone year, the Swedish palace released a new portrait of King Carl XVI Gustaf taken by photographer Thron Ullberg. In it, he posed next to a silver throne, which was a gift from the Council of Parliament Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie to Queen Kristina for her 1650 coronation.
