Catherine, princess of Wales, was the picture of sophistication today while on a solo outing in England.
Princess Kate paid a visit to the Royal Surrey County Hospital’s maternity unit this morning. While there, she learned about the "holistic support the unit provides to pregnant women and new mothers to ensure they receive the best possible care throughout and beyond their pregnancies," per Kensington Palace.
For the engagement, the princess wore an elegant mustard yellow dress. The piece featured mid-length sleeves, a pleated skirt, a built-in belt with a silver buckle, and a sharp V-neckline with triangular cutouts at the collar. Kate styled the dress with black pumps and a matching clutch, and her only jewelry was her diamond teardrop earrings. Kate’s beauty look was natural and rosy, and her hair was down in silky waves.
The princess was photographed speaking with medical professionals inside the hospital, and later greeting locals outside, where she was presented with a bouquet of white and pink flowers.
This is Kate's second solo outing in the past few days. Last Thursday, she met with the Royal Navy ship's company of HMS Glasgow at Windsor Castle.vFor the occasion, Kate appropriately dressed in head-to-toe navy, wearing a fitted blazer with matching pleated pants and suede pumps. She styled the suit over a white wrap top and accessorized with a black leather belt and delicate jewelry: a gold-and-navy necklace, matching gold drop earrings, and her sapphire engagement ring.
