Princess Eugenie's fairy tale started with dinner at an Italian restaurant.

Speaking on a new episode of the Table Manners podcast, the royal shared details of her early romance with Jack Brooksbank, whom she married in 2018. The couple — and now parents of two sons! — first met during a 2010 ski trip in Verbier, Switzerland, and the couple said during their engagement interview that it was "love at first sight."

But their first date took place a few weeks later at Osteria Basilico in the Notting Hill neighborhood of London.

"You know when you text through your friends — did you ever do that?" Eugenie, 33, asked hosts Jessie and Lennie Ware. "We met through a couple, and I used to text her and Jack used to text him."

Eugenie said the first date spot had the "best pasta" and that although she hadn't been back for "ages," she and Jack would go on a date soon. However, the couple is maintaining a gluten-free and dairy-free diet — Jack cut out foods to help cure his migraines, and Princess Eugenie is following it as well.

When it comes to drinks, Princess Eugenie said her go-to order is "tequila on the rocks with lime." It's a fitting choice, as Jack used to work as a brand ambassador for Casamigos, the tequila company founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber.

"We have boxes and boxes of it at home," she said, further explaining that she usually orders it while out after dinner. During the meal, Eugenie would rather have a gin and tonic or a vodka soda with lime.

Casamigos margaritas were the cocktail of choice at Princess Eugenie and Jack's wedding in Oct. 2018. Following their stunning ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, guests were treated to a lunch reception and epic getaway car moment. But the evening reception was where the newlyweds and their loved ones really let loose.

Robbie Williams — whose daughter Theodora served as one of the adorable bridesmaids — performed for the guests, singing his hit song “Angels” as well as some classic pop numbers “from different artists that the crowd sang along to,” a source at the party told PEOPLE.

Jack, 37, now works for Discovery Land Company, a development corporation, and the family splits their time between the U.K. and Portugal, which Eugenie described during the podcast as a "dream."

"I can go to the supermarket in my exercise gear and my hair piled on my head and not mind, not care," she explained about Portugal. "No one cares."
