Princess Eugenie Posted a Summer Throwback & She Looks '90s Toddler Glam

During this particularly steamy July, we’re all just doing our best to stay cool — and a certain royal has some advice on how to do exactly that. Princess Eugenie posted a summer throwback of her as a kid with a joking message for her fans, continuing a tradition of throwback pics on her official Instagram page. It is, after all, flashback Friday — and as a royal who isn’t constantly harangued for every move she makes, she likely enjoys getting to share bits of her personality and childhood in this way. It certainly makes her more relatable to us: Who among us doesn’t have a baby picture in which we’re getting absolutely wrecked by an ice cream cone?

Eugenie’s throwback consisted of two photos, both of her in her youth. In one, she’s sporting a denim jacket, black sunglasses and a pink bow in her hair — very ’90s toddler-glam. In the second, she’s younger still, sitting back and enjoying an ice cream cone (only half of which ultimately makes it into her mouth). Eugenie captioned the photo: “Stay cool and eat ice cream!” along with an ice cream emoji and the Flashback Friday hashtag. It’s a fun, heat-relevant spin on “keep calm and carry on.” But it’s also very serious advice that we should all be taking.
