Princess Eugenie is celebrating Christmas for the first time as a mother of two!

King Charles' niece, 33, joined members of the royal family at Sandringham on Monday for their annual church outing on Christmas day at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are regulars at the royal holiday gathering. While Eugenie has attended since childhood, she and Jack made their couple debut at Christmas in 2018 just two months after their royal wedding.

This year was extra special for Princess Eugenie as both of her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, attended the event for the first time since the early 1990s. Prince Andrew has continued to join the royals at family events despite stepping back from his royal role in 2019 and being stripped of his military titles and patronages by his mother, Queen Elizabeth, in 2022 due to his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

However, Fergie (as the Duchess of York is known) also joined the church outing this year. The pair separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996, so she hasn't joined the royal family for the Christmas outing in many years.

Prince Andrew and Fergie have remained very friendly and dedicated co-parents to their two daughters, even continuing to live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

2023 was a big year for Eugenie and Jack. In late May, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy they named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. The arrival made their first child, August Philip Hawke, a big brother!

Princess Eugenie waited until June 5 to announce her second son's arrival and name as well as the first images. She wrote on Instagram, "Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs. He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald."

The royal added, "Augie is loving being a big brother already."

Ernie, as he's nicknamed, arrived as 13th in the line of succession to the British throne, immediately following August. Ernest is also the first of Queen Elizabeth's great-grandchildren to be born following her death in September 2022 and the third grandchild of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

In addition to becoming parents of two, Princess Eugenie and Jack have had another big life change recently. It was announced last year that Jack landed a new job that will have the family splitting their time between the U.K. and Portugal, which Princess Eugenie recently said on a podcast is a "dream."

"I can go to the supermarket in my exercise gear and my hair piled on my head and not mind, not care," she explained on the Table Manners podcast. "No one cares."

Princess Eugenie and Jack have welcomed some visitors recently. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (Eugenie's first cousin) stopped in Portugal for a vacation after attending the Invictus Games in Germany last month before returning home to California. Despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's move to the United States in 2020 after announcing their decision to step back as senior working members of the royal family, the Duke of Sussex remains close to cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

A family insider told PEOPLE earlier this year, "They're still the best of friends and talk constantly."
