Princess Beatrice's Husband Shares Never-Before-Seen Photo of Their Daughter Sienna for Her 2nd Birthday

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have a 2-year-old!

Edo, as Princess Beatrice's husband is known, shared a special post on Instagram on Monday to celebrate their daughter Sienna Elizabeth's second birthday. The never-before-seen photo showed Sienna from behind, strolling outside while sporting a floral dress (one of her mom's go-to patterns!) and a sombrero.

"Happy Birthday Baby Girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day," the proud father captioned the snap.

Sienna was born on Sept. 18, 2021, a little over a year after her parents got married in July 2020 in a scaled-down wedding to fit COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time.

Her middle name is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth, Princess Beatrice's grandmother. Beatrice also chose a name that incorporated several thoughtful nods to her mother, Sarah Ferguson (or "Fergie," as the Duchess of York is affectionately called), including the hue of the locks the mother and daughter have.

"They were looking for an Italian name which started with an S for Sarah, to honour the Duchess, and also reflected the golden rust colour of both the Duchess's hair colour and Beatrice's which the new baby shares," a source previously told Hello! magazine.

Sienna's birth made Edo's son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf (who is affectionately nicknamed Wolfie), a big brother. In an announcement made shortly after the new addition, Beatrice and Edo said, "We are all doing well, and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna."

Sienna is currently 10th in the line of succession to the British throne, just behind her mother.

Sienna's birthday celebration comes shortly after an exciting announcement from the family. Earlier this month, Edo revealed that his younger brother Alby is engaged.

“🌟 So happy for my little bro Alby and Chelsea! 💍 Finding that special someone is truly the greatest blessing in life. Your engagement news fills my heart with so much happiness. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures! ❤️,” Edo captioned a snap of his brother and future sister-in-law on Instagram.

With Alby and Chelsea’s wedding on the family calendar, it's possible that Sienna and Wolife will star in the party! In July, the Daily Mail reported that Sienna served as a flower girl and Wolfie acted as a page boy at the wedding of Phoebe Williams-Ellis and Raoul de Lantsheer, which Beatrice and Edo attended.

While the nuptials likely marked Sienna’s debut in a wedding role, Wolfie stepped into the spotlight for a wedding before. Edo’s son took on the role of the best man and page boy when his dad married Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter three years ago.
